FAQs
Let us worry about it, so you don't have to.
Do I have to call the insurance company first?
No! That’s why you hired us. It is crucial to have your damages and coverages assessed before a claim is filed. If you choose to move forward we will do the work with the insurance company for you. We file your claim, file paperwork, arrange inspections and keep you informed during the process.
Can I begin repairs on my home during the claim process?
For the best results, you must leave your home in the same condition throughout the claims process. This will allow each inspection to show the clear evidence of your damages.

Will my rates go up if I make a claim?
No, your rates do NOT increase because you make a claim. An increase in your insurance premiums is not based individually, but rather by area. Don't be afraid to use your insurance!
How long will the claim process take?
Each claim is different but, the average claim can take anywhere from 6 months to a year to complete (perhaps longer if it must go to litigation) though we do work to get it completed a quickly as possible.
What if I tried to do the claim myself and I am not happy with the results, is it too late to hire you?
No, we can come in at any stage of the claim and take over. Even if you are in the middle of the claim. Keep in mind we only charge on any monies we recuperate for you from the day we take over, not before.
What is the cost to retaining a Public Adjuster?
There are no upfront costs to hiring us! Dedicated Public Adjusters takes a small percentage of the final settlement. We don't get paid until you get paid!
Will the insurance company have to come to my property?
Yes. Your insurance company's adjuster(s) will probably have to visit your property more than once during the claim. Don't worry, you do not need to be present, we will meet with them on your behalf.
